Ma chere Sophie, I cannot stop thinking about the tragedy. Didier, a French relative of my sister, is visiting Sao Paulo with his wife, and my mother said that he cried yesterday when he knew about the massacre. It is very sad. Your wonderful photo above has given me a lot of energy to live these moments, to keep my mind sane, and to join the fight for freedom of expression, movement, religion, all freedoms, and especially the freedom of fear. Merci beucoup pour la belle image! The artists have the power to give us a lot of strength during such tragedies. Merci beaucoup to the artists on stage and to the artist behind the Canon! Big hugs.
PS: There is an expletive in this cartoon, but in my opinion, it is one of the best that I have seen. It shows the despair of the criminals as they realize that we are laughing at them, even in the moment of such tragedy. It is a perfect Charlie Hebdo cartoon, and it is a great tribute to our heroes!

On pouvait ne pas tout aimer dans les dessins de Charlie Hebdo, mais je ne trouve pas de mots assez fort pour décrire mes sentiments envers ces tueurs. Rien ne justifie ce massacre et cette barbarie, je n’aime pas d’habitude parler de mes opinions sur mon blog photo d’habitude mais la douleur est trop insoutenable.
Merci pour ce dessin, qui en effet est bien dans la lignée de Charlie Hebdo et montre que l’on peut rire de tout.

Belle photo et bel hommage. C’est vrai que je n’appréciais pas trop les dessins de Charlie mais ce n’est pas une raison de les museler. J’arrête pas en ce moment d’écrire pour éviter la haine, pour éviter la vengeance etc… Courage donc unis contre la violence et contre ceux qui veulent tuer la liberté d’expression!
